THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY MUSEUM IN ROME

The educational entertainment freely inspired by the world of chocolate, finally arrives in Italy. Between 18th November 2017 and 18th February 2018, Fiera Roma has opened a CHOCOLATE FACTORY-MUSEUM, an amazing theme park specifically designed to entertain and educate and finally reveal all the secrets of chocolate. Thanks to a partnership with Helexpo, a trade fair organizer that has already held this incredible event in Greece, visitors have been able to learn all the tricks about chocolate, its processing techniques, tasting and preparation courses.

The Chocolate Factory Museum is a family-friendly unique theme event that offers an amazing overview of all the topics related to chocolate: from a chocolate library to the Amazon Jungle Chocolate, the special reconstruction of the ancient Incan temples, the labyrinth for delicious tricks and the display of musical instruments made with chocolate.

A journey in time and space to discover the history of this delicious food though the different sections of this incredible exhibit: thanks to a special reconstruction of the Amazon vegetation and the ruins of the Incas temples visitors have be able to completely experience the warmth and humidity of the jungle and to receive real cocoa beans; the Museum of Chocolate and Cocoa gives the opportunity to gather information about the great but mostly unknown chocolate history guided on a path that crosses different cultures, legends and stories; the Chocolate Library includes printed material such as books, fables, recipes, magazines, newspapers all related to chocolate, sweets, nutrition and pastry;  by entering the Amazonian hut, built with wooden poles, visitors travel back in time, to discover the traditional cocoa processing; the Chocolate Cascade  with its 1200 liters of liquid chocolate,  is rightly the largest waterfall in Europe; the reproduction of the country of Italy, with chocolate miniatures of famous landmarks and monuments and an exhibit of Musical Instruments made of chocolate that features eleven musical instruments recreated in chocolate, including trumpets, guitars, drums and xylophones.

Moreover the Chocolate Factory-Museum has been enriched with an educational space for children where learning, through theatrical games, the information about proper nutrition and health and the benefits of chocolate. Within the laboratories the whole family can learn everything about chocolate-processing techniques, by observing the process of producing and packing chocolate, the chocolate sugar paste and give birth to their creations. In the tasting workshop. visitors meet a great variety of chocolates made with the most special ingredients that can be tasted!
