From Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th January 2019, the scenic location of the Cavaniglia Pavilion within the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, will host the 33rd edition of the unique fashion fair “Vintage Selection”, considered one of the most prestigious fashion events and an unmissable appointment for vintage clothing lovers.
Organized by Stazione Leopolda together with Pitti Immagine, Vintage Selection is a must-see for all fans of vintage culture in search of original clothing and garments: 50 national and international exhibitors specialized in quality vintage clothes, accessories and design, together with companies that deal with custom vintage, will enrich this amazing event that attracts every year visitors from all over the world, along with important business names in fashion.
From the hunters of “cool” clothing to the curious in search of unique pieces, from major international labels in search of inspiration to vintage culture enthusiasts, the fair has become, over the years, synonymous with quality and lifestyle, a festival where – twice a year – the fashion of the past is mixed with today’s designer creations.
The general theme for this edition, MIND THE BOX, will refer to THE PITTI BOX, the main theme of the winter shows organized by Pitti Immagine: Vintage Selection will reinterpret it through its own peculiar retro-contemporary showcase of vintage sportswear universe and with a special layout punctuated by luminous frames that will accompany visitors as they discover a new perspective on vintage.
But Vintage Selection in Florence will not be just fashion, the festival will have indeed a rich calendar of live music performances, shows and exhibitions to offer to all visitors a 360-degree panorama of vintage culture and lifestyle.
